It takes around 7-8 hours to reach Pokhara by bus depending on the road conditions and traffic jams.

Overnight in Lakeside, Pokhara

Pokhara is the hub for adventure activities including bungy jumping, paragliding, ziplining, ultralight, and many others. Early morning, drive to Sarangot from where you can get amazing sunrise views over the mountain ranges.  Sarangkot offers a wide range of adventure activities.  In Sarangkot, you can participate in Paragliding, Bungy jumping, Ziplining, ATV, and others. On this day for a whole day, you’ll engage in a different adventure activity. Once you’re done with the activities, you’ll be escorted back to the hotel by our representative.

Overnight in Lakeside, Pokhara


After performing adventure activities for a whole day your body needs some relaxation. On the 3rd day of your honeymoon tour, you’ll take for boating in Phewa Lake. Phewa Lake is the most famous and second-largest lake in Nepal. After having breakfast, you can explore Pokhara City with your loved one.

Overnight in Lakeside

This is your final day in Pokhara on your Honeymoon tour. You’ll be back in Kathmandu after having breakfast. You’ll follow the same way on Prithivi Highway. You’ll transfer to the hotel once you reach Kathmandu.

Transportation option 

By Air: Air travel is the simplest and fastest way of getting to Pokhara. The domestic airport in Pokhara has good connections to Kathmandu and other major Nepalese cities. Domestic carriers that fly often between Kathmandu and Pokhara include Nepal Carriers, Yeti Airlines, Budhha Air, Saurya, and others. The flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara lasts about 25 to 30 minutes.

By Bus: The ideal alternative for individuals who like a scenic route is an overland trip. The Prithivi Highway, which connects Kathmandu and Pokhara, provides breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Depending on traffic and road conditions, it takes 6-7 hours. For the Pokhara Honeymoon tour, there are both public and private transportation options.

How to reach Pokhara 

Pokhara can be reached through flight and overland journeys from various cities of Nepal.

From Kathmandu: 

To reach Pokhara from Kathmandu Valley, one can travel by bus and by air. Airway is the fastest way and there are several domestic airlines that operate daily flights between Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and Pokhara. The flight duration is approximately 20-30 minutes. Similarly, private and public vehicle is available which takes you through Prithivi Highway with scenic views of the surroundings. It takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach depending on the road conditions.

From the Sunauli border: 

Regular public buses are not operating from the Sunauli border to Pokhara. So, you’ve to drive from the Sunauli border to Bhairawa. Fromm Bhairahwa public vehicle and airway services are available. For those who prefer a quicker option can take a domestic flight from Gautam Buddha Airport in Bhairahwa to Pokhara Airport. Flights are relatively short and take around 20-30 minutes. Both private and public transportation is available from Bhairahwa to Pokhara which takes approximately 7-8 hours depending on the road conditions and traffic jam.

From Nepalgunj: 

You can choose an overland journey and flight service to reach Pokhara from Nepalgunj. Air service is the fastest and most convenient transport service which takes approximately 35-40 minutes flight duration time. The flights operate from Nepalgunj Airport to Pokhara Airport. Similarly, private and public road transportation is also available. According to your convenience, you can choose private and public transportation.  It takes approximately 13-14 hours to reach by overland journey depending on the road conditions.

From Kakarvitta border

To get from Kakarvitta to Pokhara, you can take a flight or road transportation. For flight service, you’ve to go to Bhadrapur Airport by road transportation. The airport is approximately 25km away from Kakarvitta and is the closest airport to the border. The regular flight operates from Bhadrapur Airport to Pokhara Airport. The flight duration is typically around 45-50 minutes. If you prefer to travel by road, you’ve to hire a private vehicle which takes around 11 to 12 hours depending on road conditions and traffic jams.
