The Langtang Valley Trek, also known as the Valley of Glaciers Trek, is one of Nepal’s most popular and popular short trekking routes. Itinerary:

Welcome to Nepal. On this day, you’ll arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal. Our representative will be at the arrival terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport with a plyboard of your name or company name. Then you’ll be escorted to your respective hotel by private vehicle. Our company provides verities of the private vehicle according to the size of your group.

Get up early in the morning for the approximately 9-hour bus travel to Syabru Besi. Even though the ride is lengthy, you won’t get bored taking in the picturesque villages and woodlands. You may catch a glimpse of mountains like Manaslu, Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, etc. if the weather is clear. You will have dinner and go to bed early at a tea house once you get to Syabru Besi.

Overnight in Syabrubesi

You will stroll alongside Langtang Khola after leaving Syabru Besi. Beautiful oak and rhododendron trees line the trail as it follows Ghoda Tabela. You will continuously alternate between ascending and descending after climbing to reach a valley. There are several tea cafes where you can have your lunch or other foods. The Lama Hotel will then be reached after you cross a narrow bridge and up a steep slope. You will have dinner and spend the night at a tea house after arriving.

Your goal for the day is the picturesque valley and village of Langtang. You will awaken in the Lama Hotel, and you will proceed there by walking alongside the Langtang River. As you approach Ghoda Tablela, which is at an elevation of 3000 meters, you will cross the 3000-meter mark. Here, you will have lunch, rest, and take in views of the Langtang range and lush grasslands. After that, you will climb for a while to reach the Yak pasturelands. To get to Langtang village, home to Tamang people and Tibetan Buddhist Sherpas, you will have to climb a high slope for around four hours from here.

You will arrive at Muna and Singdun after several hours of walking across a lush meadow. After eating at Singdun, you will cross a wooden bridge and then need to walk for a while over a rough route to get to Kyanjin Gompa. You can look around the abbey. You can view snow-capped peaks of mountains like Kyanjin Ri and Tserko Ri all around you. You’ll spend the night here.

Overnight in Kyanjing Gompa

Before going even higher, your body needs time to adjust to the gradually falling oxygen level and rising altitude. You may explore the village on foot. You can climb the Tsergo Ri, a fantastic viewpoint with stunning views of the nearby mountains including Langtang Lirung, Ghangchhempo, Yala Peak, Morimoto Peak, Pogen Dhopku, etc., if you are physically healthy and don’t exhibit any symptoms of altitude sickness. To see the sunrise over the mountains from the summit, get up early and chase it. After dinner, you’ll head back to Kyanjin Gompa to rest.

When you arrive back at the Lama Hotel, you’ll notice that your body gradually feels better as you descend to a lower altitude and the oxygen level starts to rise. You’ll pass through picturesque woodlands and Tamang settlements as you stroll. To reach Langtang village, carefully descend along Langtang Khola. From there, continue going till you reach Ghoda Tabela and, finally, the Lama Hotel. You will stay another night at the Lama Hotel following your arduous descent.

Overnight in Lama Hotel

The walk to Syabru Besi today will be short and simple. As you leave the mountains, you can take in the surrounding surroundings. You may look back and see how much further the mountains have gotten, and you can remember how much you loved being so close to them. Your overnight stay will be at Syabru Besi.

Overnight in Syabrubesi

With lots of memories, you’ll be back in Kathmandu on the overland journey from Syabrubesi. You will enjoy the scenery of mountains, pastures, and woods for around nine hours as you say goodbye to the mountains that are moving further away. Once in Kathmandu, you can unwind by engaging in a variety of activities. You can also wander the city and shop for souvenirs. You will enjoy traditional food and cultural dances at a farewell dinner in the evening to commemorate the success of the Langtang Valley Trek.

This is your final day in Nepal. According to your flight schedule, our representative will drop you at the departure terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport.

Trekking Difficulties

Drinking Water Service on 10 Days Langtang valley trek
